April Coughlin is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). She specializes in Classical Five Element Acupuncture (CFEA). Before receiving her Doctorate from Pacific College of Health and Science, April received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maryland. Her fascination with the mind-body connection led her to Acupuncture, where she experienced first-hand a form of medicine that addressed not only physical health, but also mental, emotional, and spiritual. April has been studying alongside a CFEA mentor in this lineage for the past three years and is continually doing so and refining her skills. This ancient style of acupuncture addresses the true nature of our health imbalances instead of chasing symptoms. It has a profound ability to help us reconnect with ourselves on the deepest levels. Outside of her work as a clinician, April is passionate about salsa dancing, enjoying time in nature, and petting every dog she can.
